ESTUARY AND SEA. VISIONS OF JR LUZURIAGA

The exhibition Ría y Mar. Visiones de JR Luzuriaga by the artist Juan Ramón Luzuriaga (Deusto, February 16, 1938) brings together fifteen evocative paintings of the maritime environment of Bizkaia.

The Burceña Bridge

Considered one of the masterpieces of Basque art of the first half of the 20th century, this urban landscape entered the museum's collection months before the artist's death.

Selma Huxley: discovering the Basques in 16th-century Terra Nova

A pioneering scientist and historian of international renown. Her work, of great relevance to the maritime history of the Basque Country and Canada, focused on the little-known Basque expeditions to Terra Nova, today's Atlantic coast of Canada, during the 16th and 17th centuries.
