From June 5 to 11 Itsasmuseum celebrates the Basque Environment and Ocean Week 2023 (BEOW 2023).
From June 5 to 11 Itsasmuseum celebrates the Basque Environment and Ocean Week 2023 (BEOW 2023).
Within this framework, a scientific-technical informative conference will be held to learn about the state of health of the Planet, the “Conference for the Planet”, where specialists in various fields will bring us the latest developments in science and technology on the 9 planetary boundaries, commemorating June 5, World Environment Day, and June 8, World Oceans Day.
The planetary boundaries are a conceptual framework that evaluates the state of 9 fundamental processes for the stability of the Earth system and suggests a series of thresholds for these processes that, if exceeded, could endanger the habitability of the planet.
